Carl Kornmeyer
CEO/ President
Carl Kornmeyer is a founding member of the LBK Entertainment Team and is the principal owner. He is the former President of Music, Media and Entertainment for Gaylord Entertainment Company, which included ownership in and his leadership roles of, such properties as The Nashville Network, Country Music Television, the Grand Ole Opry, Acuff Rose Music Publishing, Word Records, and more. His accomplishments include development, growth, expansion, management and even the sale of many of the Gaylord entities.
He served as Vice Chairman of Arts, Entertainment and Music for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce; served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the BellSouth Senior PGA event and on the Leadership Board of the Franklin American LPGA event that together raised millions for local charities. Other industry membership and service include the CMA, Leadership Music and NARAS.
Mariah Tobias
Vice President of Creative
Mariah is a music professional with a degree in music business from Belmont University. Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, she has an unwavering passion for music, and decided to make music city her home and career.
Upon graduating college, she began her career supporting writers and artists including heading up the merchandise operations for LBK's artist development company. Mariah's experiences range from digital marketing, merchandising, artist management and music publishing. Her move into publishing came into play about a year into her career in the role of business and creative services manager for LBK Entertainment and Music Publishing. Her unique ability to mentor both the creative and business assets of songwriter's careers led her to become creative director and now Vice President of Creative and a partner in LBK.
Debbie Mundy
SVP/CFO
Debbie has been with LBK from the very start. She has broad experience in the many facets of what we do and handles all things financial. In addition to financial responsibilities, she is a partner and principal member of the team for all elements of growing LBK.
Debbie got her start as a staff accountant with Gaylord Entertainment Company while still attending college at Lipscomb University where she earned a degree in accounting. She held a variety of financial positions during her 23 years with Gaylord, including Vice President/Controller of the Music, Media, and Entertainment Group, which included The Nashville Network (TNN) and Country Music Television (CMT), as well as multiple radio stations, a production company, and a syndication company. Her professional experience also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for Equity Music Group, an independent record label owned by Clint Black, and for Amity Entertainment, a television production and film distribution company.
Tim DuBois
Creative Services – Music Publishing
Tim DuBois’ storied career has included recognition as a songwriter, manager, record executive and producer. He has written five, No. 1 hits, and received two Grammy Award nominations, in addition to twenty No. 1 and Top 5 singles and more than a dozen gold, platinum and double-platinum albums as a producer.
Tapped to open a Nashville division of Arista Records in 1989, DuBois discovered and signed Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, BlackHawk, Pam Tillis and Diamond Rio, selling more than 75 million records worldwide in just four years. After serving as president of Gaylord Entertainment’s Creative Content Group in 2001, DuBois went on to head Universal South Records from 2002 until 2006. He was at ASCAP as Vice President and Managing Executive in Nashville from 2010-2012. DuBois has served on the boards of CMA, ACM, CMF, NSAI, Leadership Music, NARAS and Sun Trust Bank. He is a co-founder and board member of MyWerx LLC and also the former chairman of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Tim's accomplishments in the business side of music, coupled with his skills as a songwriter, make him a valuable asset to LBK Publishing where he works hand in hand with the creative development of our songwriters.
Debby Dill
Creative Services – Music Publishing
Debby began her career in music publishing working for ABC Music. Her industry focus has also included writer collaborations, artist development, catalog exploitation, A&R and industry advisor. She has worked at MCA Music Publishing, Infinity Music Publishing, Qwest Music/Quincy Jones Productions, David Foster Publishing, and BMG Music Publishing. She served as Senior Vice President of Creative Affairs at Windswept Music Publishing where she was responsible for the development of songwriters/artists and producers, securing recording contracts and production opportunities while managing co-ventures in the US and UK. She is LBK’s representative in Los Angeles for music placements in film, television, commercial projects and writer collaborations.
Jeff Margolis
Creative Services – Entertainment
As a television executive producer and director, Margolis has shaped hundreds of the entertainment industry's biggest events, headlined by its biggest stars, as well as packaging and producing entertainment and reality series and specials for network, syndication and cable television.
Margolis' prolific directing career includes 22 American Music Awards, 8 Academy Awards, 16 Screen Actors Guild Awards, 3 Emmy Awards, 3 TV Land Awards, 2 Daytime Emmy Awards, and 2 Academy of Country Music Awards. Margolis also directed the feature film Richard Pryor Live in Concert, plus numerous television specials and series including HBO’s Michael Jackson: One Night Only, 2 NBC Christmas in Rockefeller Center specials, Motown's 45th Anniversary Celebration, The 75th Annual Miss America Pageant, A Musical Christmas At Walt Disney World, A Gala For The President At Ford’s Theater, Oscars Greatest Moments, and the list goes on.
Margolis has received many of the industry's top honors; he has won 2 Directors Guild of America Awards for directing the Academy Awards, he has accumulated 6 Emmy Award nominations for directing the 1991-1996 Academy Awards, and won Emmys for directing the 1995 Academy Awards and for producing Sammy Davis Jr.'s 60th Anniversary Celebration.
Allie Nicolini

Allie joined LBK as Creative Coordinator after graduating from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business in May of 2023. Throughout her time at Belmont, she was actively engaged in organizations and music publishing internships that fostered her love for the music industry. Additionally, Allie's leadership qualities grew through her involvement in Phi Mu Fraternity, where she served as President. In this role, she exhibited exceptional organizational skills and a natural talent for motivating and guiding others.
Hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, Allie's relocation to Nashville has ignited her love for country music and the city's vibrant songwriting community. With a keen passion for country music and a deep appreciation for the art of songwriting, Allie brings a unique perspective and creative energy to her role. We are thrilled to have someone as enthusiastic and passionate as Allie on board.
