Courtney Ives
Director of Accounting

Just because you grow up in Nashville doesn’t mean you’re destined for the music business, especially if you’re an accountant. But Courtney started on the right track as an internal auditor with Gaylord Entertainment, spent a brief time in corporate procurement then returned to a more accounting-based role. There was no way for her to say no when the opportunity with LBK came up, and just like that she was in the music business.

No business operates without money and somebody has to keep up with it all. That’s what Courtney does. Courtney also plays a key role as Business Manager for multiple LBK clients.

Claire Parr
Creative Services

Claire recently passed away in early 2021 after being an important influence for the LBK. She will be greatly missed.

She made her way into the music promotion and marketing world, in which her drive and work ethic resulted in becoming the Vice President of Curb Records in 1994. She worked with Pop and Contemporary Christian divisions, in addition to successfully crossing country music into the pop market.

She left Curb to create The Navigator Company, which has become one of the most successful Adult-orientated independent marketing & promotion companies in the industry. She has since worked on the promotion and artist development of projects with Island/Def Jam, Sony, Epic, Universal Music Group, Capitol, Virgin, Jive, RCA Records, Lava Records and J Records, on such superstar projects as Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Adele, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Meghan Trainor, Maroon 5, Alicia Keys, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Lenny Kravitz and countless others. In 2008, Claire co-founded Live In The Vineyard, the country’s most successful “private” music, food and wine festival in Napa, California. Claire relocated to Nashville in 2017 and has become an energetic and integral part of LBK Music Publishing as she supports music placements in Film and Television projects.
